On a Journey of Hope
For a Healed and More Prosperous Canada
2022 has whizzed by with autumn already nearing. The world continues to shake with conflict and the post-pandemic economy asks of Canadians to persevere a little longer. But in the midst of challenging times, democracy continues to take its course.
Over these last several months, it's been an honour to serve on the Leadership Election Organizing Committee for the Conservative Party of Canada leadership contest alongside some incredible leaders who truly model selfless integrity and patriotism. We've had record breaking momentum with hundreds and thousands of Canadians joining the Conservative movement with hopes of seeing our democratic freedom sand economic prosperity being restored. Whoever takes the mantle of Leader on September 10, has a lot of work ahead and I look forward to supporting their efforts to give Canadians hope for the future.
It's also been a pleasure to connect more closely with various community members and offer support on their causes and issues. One of the societies I connected with includes the Volunteer Cancer Drivers Society. It was a privilege to meet with Larry Coleman, Director at Large and retired CKNW journalist, George Garrett, who founded VCDS along with two colleagues.
